    VSR (Virtual Showroom) – 3D Configurator Add-on

VSR (Virtual Showroom) is an interactive 3D experience I developed as an add-on for the UW 3D Configurator. It extends the main configurator by letting customers see their customised product inside a pre-designed 3D room, for a more immersive and realistic presentation.

    The goal

Bridge the gap between product customisation and real-world visualisation: customers experience the desk they just configured in a virtual interior before they buy it.

    Key features and implementation

    • Seamless integration: built as an independent WordPress add-on that connects to the main UW 3D Configurator through custom hooks and a dependency-aware plugin architecture.
    • 3D model synchronisation: clones the customer’s configured product directly from the main Three.js viewer into the showroom, preserving its local position, rotation and scale.
    • GLTF/GLB integration: loads optimised 3D room environments with Three.js and GLTFLoader.
    • Dynamic model placement: automatically adjusts the product’s orientation and scale so it sits naturally in the room.
    • Interactive 3D environment: an immersive fullscreen showroom with custom camera positioning and OrbitControls for natural navigation.
    • Modular asset management: frontend assets and 3D resources are handled independently and only load when the VSR feature is enabled.

    Tech stack

    • WordPress, PHP and JavaScript
    • Three.js with GLTFLoader and OrbitControls
    • GLTF/GLB 3D assets

  • Nexu Blog

    Nexu Blog

Nexu Blog is the public blog for Nexu’s app and web app. It shares news and articles about self-care with Nexu’s users and helps new visitors discover the platform.

    The goal

The content team needed a blog they could update on their own, with a design that matched the Nexu brand and pages that load quickly for readers arriving from search and social media.

    • A custom WordPress theme in PHP, so editors manage everything from the familiar WordPress admin.
